The latest going ons for the Mike Skembo branch of the family is Janika's invention. The Skembox is in the final stages of R&D and will be ready for sle before this year's holliday season!
Mark is still flying with Continental (now United). He had back surgery this year, and has made an amazing recovery. As a result of his back surgery he picked up a nurse named Gail, that's what I call a recovery!
Being a flight attendent has it's drawbacks of course, he works a lote, and spends even more time on call. When he isn't at EWR waiting for a trip, he spends time with his girlfriend Gail, working the farm in Missourri, or visiting Max in Arizona.

Max is getting better day by day. His workouts are intense, but the physical therapists can see his winning attitude.
A year ago there was a lot of pessemism about Max's future. Not because we didn't believe in him, but because of the beurocracy that exists in the state run medical establishment. They had written Max off as not worthy of rehabilitation because they didn't think he'd ever be tax paying citizen again. Mom & Dad worked tirelessly to get Max the help he needs, and the results are amazing.
Finishing up her college career at the University of Utah, and playng with her golden retriever Summer. Well there you have it, life is good.
